VRFA treats 5 for carbon monoxide poisoning, sends them to Harborview

5 at Pacific business taken to Harborview for carbon monoxide poisoning

Valley Regional Fire Authority crews responded just before 1 p.m. to a report of sickened employees at a business in the 300 block of West Valley Highway North in the city of Pacific.

Finding increased levels of carbon monoxide in the building, fire personnel treated five people before arranging for their transportation to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.

The VRFA has not identified the business.
