Auburn Mountainview turned back Shorewood/Shorecrest 15-11 in a girls water polo match Saturday.

The Lions improved to 10-0 on the season.

Amelia Portin led the Lions with six goals. Devyn Nelson had four, Mairead Quigley scored 3 and Autumn Hilderbrand and Kenzie Hilderbrand each delivered one.

Goalie Janeese Singer had several great blocks and assists, and Caity Craft helped shut down the other team’ lead scorer.​

Auburn Mountainview travels to Gig Harbor for a 7:30 p.m. match Wednesday.
