Auburn Riverside’s Marcus Sutrick, senior, cross country, was chosen Auburn Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week for Sept. 28.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Pre-calculus.

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: Watching movies, hiking, listening to music.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My coach, Mr. Sumner, has helped me succeed throughout my high school career.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: My pre-game ritual is to listen to music and think about how I want the race to go.

Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

A: “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard.
