Four individuals win multiple events at all-city meet | SPSL 3A track

Three of the four multi-event winners during Thursday’s all-city track and field meet at Auburn Memorial came from Auburn Mountainview.

Senior Cannon Sires won the 100-meter dash in 11.22 seconds and the long jump (19 feet, 4 1/4 inches), while sophomore teammate Carson Porter-Keese captured the 800 (2 minutes, 4.17 seconds) and the 1,600 (4:44.62) titles.

On the girls side, Lions’ senior Tiffany Pott won the javelin (95-07) and the high jump (5-04). The only other multi-event winner was Auburn sophomore Rebecca Thareek, who captured victories in the 100 hurdles (15.63) and 300 hurdles (46.3).
