As of Monday, Aug. 11, this is where the city of Auburn stood with respect to King County in the COVID-19 stats, according to the King County Public Health website.

• King County overall: 340,150 tested — 2,486 more than the previous day — at a rate of 15,278.7 tested per 100,000 residents.

• City of Auburn: 8,891 tested — 42 more than the previous day — at a rate of 12,393.4 tested per 100,000 residents,

• King County positive results: 16,830, 81 new over the previous day, 4.9 percent of all tested, a rate of 756 per 100,000 residents.

• City of Auburn: 990 positive cases, 6 new over the previous day, 11.1 percent of all tested, a rate of 1,380 per 100,000 residents.

• Hospitalizations countywide: 2,053, 10 new over the previous day, 12.2 percent of all positive cases, at a rate of 92.2 per 100,000 residents;

• Hospitalizations in the city of Auburn: 111 with no new cases from the previous day, 11.2 percent of all positive cases, at a rate of 154.7 per 100,000 residents.

• Deaths to COVID-19 countywide: 679, 3 new over the previous day, 4 percent of all positive cases, at a rate of 32.5 deaths per 100,000 residents;

• Deaths to COVID-19 in Auburn: 20, none new over the previous day, 2 percent of all positive cases, 27.9 deaths per 100,000 residents.
