Between Jan. 29 and Feb. 4, The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 289 calls for service, among them the following.

Jan. 29

Aid call: 10:31 a.m. (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a man for a possible seizure before a private ambulance transported him to a local hospital.

Jan. 30

Aid call: 7:57 a.m. (Pacific). Firefighters responding to a report that a man had passed out at work found him with stable vital signs and no known cause for the episode. A coworker drove the man to a local urgent care clinic.

Jan. 31

CPR: 9:49 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters responding to a woman who was complaining of cardiac arrest found an Auburn police officer performing CPR on the woman. Firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics continued CPR before paramedics and a firefighter transported the woman to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.

Feb. 1

Accident: 9:25 p.m. (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters responded to a two-car, head-on collision at Lake Tapps Parkway and Lakeland Hills Boulevard, and treated one occupant for minor injuries on the scene. A family member then transported the injured person to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center, while firefighters secured the vehicles and conducted spill control.

Feb. 2

Aid call: 12:21 p.m. (Lakeland Hills). Firefighters evaluated and treated a man who was complaining of post-surgery knee pain, and a private ambulance transported him to a local hospital.

Feb. 3

Aid call: 9:21 a.m. (Pacific). Firefighters used Narcan to revive a man who had stopped breathing in front of the Auburn library, and a private ambulance transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.

Feb. 4

Aid call: 9:14 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated a man who had been assaulted during a robbery at Walgreens, and a private ambulance transported him to a local hospital for continued care.
