The Auburn School District has put too much emphasis on the outside of our schools and not enough into them.

Example: the Auburn Riverside High School is on expensive river front view property with a beautiful brick exterior. The latest Auburn Mountainview High School is also on the most expensive view property in the area. A surrounding panorama of the countryside and Mount Rainier. It also has the beautiful brick exterior. This is not Mercer Island or Bellevue, this is Auburn.

The Auburn School District has wasted the taxpayers money on view property when they should have been putting more of the money into what is inside the schools. Remember, “Looks are only skin deep, or it’s what’s inside that counts.” This is true, except for City Hall.
