King County Councilmember Pete von Reichbauer today announced an informational town hall meeting on proposed County Council legislation regarding Pacific Raceways.

The meeting is 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 in the commons of Lakeview Elementary School, 16401 SE 318th St., Auburn.

“This informational meeting is not to provide a forum for debate between proponents and opponents of Pacific Raceways expansion,” von Reichbauer said, “Instead, this will be an opportunity for the community to present questions and have them answered by professional county staff.”

Interested citizens are encouraged to attend and provide written or verbal questions and comments. Those who wish to speak will be limited to two minutes each. County staff from both the Council and the executive will be available to answer any questions.
