The Auburn Area Chamber of Commerce – working with the Auburn School District – hosted the 12th annual Career Conference on Tuesday at Grace Community Church.

The event was an opportunity for 300 high school juniors and seniors in the Auburn, Enumclaw and Kent school districts to prepare for their employment future.

Area businesses participated to give the students an idea of the array of industries available to them and what they need to do to be successful in obtaining a position in that industry.

Alongside the area business participants were representatives from the trades, several community colleges and technical programs.
