Emerald Downs presents “Hats and Heels: A Shopping Event and Night at the Races” on Friday, Aug. 13.

Celebrate fashion at the races while doing a little shopping and a little betting. The exclusive shopping event begins at 5 p.m., with the races starting at 6 p.m.

The afternoon for the ladies includes admission to Emerald Downs, access to the shopping event in the Emerald Room, hors d’oeuvres, a glass of wine, a racing program and tip sheet. Ladies are encouraged to dress in their finest racing attire.

Participating vendors will include: Lunaversoul jewelry, Diane Macrae handbags, Heartstrings Headwear, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Shelly Jenkins Photography, and more.

Tickets for “Hats and Heels: A Shopping Event and Night at the Races” are $30 and must be purchased in advance. Ten percent of sales will benefit the Children’s Therapy Center.
