The enrollment deadline for Washington’s Guaranteed Education Tuition (GET) program is March 31.

Accounts must be opened by that date in order to take advantage of this year’s $117 unit price.

Parents concerned about the rising cost of college tuition are enrolling in record numbers in the state’s prepaid college tuition plan. They’re setting aside money today in order to save on the costs of helping their child attend college in the future.

The GET program was established in 1998 to help families save for college. A child’s account value is guaranteed by the state to increase at the same rate as college tuition at Washington’s top public universities, even if tuition doubles or triples in the future.
