MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital to unveil its new Patient Care Tower in Feb. 13 open house

The MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital community officially will unveil its new Patient Care Tower at a Feb. 13 open house on the Puyallup medical campus, 401 15th Ave. SE.

The MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital community officially will unveil its new Patient Care Tower at a Feb. 13 open house on the Puyallup medical campus, 401 15th Ave. SE.

The event, which will run from noon-4 p.m., is free and open to the public.

The public can take a walking tour of the new $400 million, 357,000-square-foot, nine-level tower, as well as enjoy family-friendly activities, giveaways, entertainment and light refreshments.

Among the tower’s features:

• 78 large, family-friendly, private inpatient rooms.

• New Emergency Department with 46 private treatment rooms and four triage rooms

• Convenient express services such as outpatient testing, pre-surgical services, laboratory.

• State-of-the-art surgical suites.

• Diagnostic Imaging services such as ultrasound, echocardiograms, MRI and CT scan.

• “Green” construction process and design features, built with LEED certification in mind.
