This week, Puget Sound Energy customers can test drive and provide feedback on the utility’s new and improved website, www.pse.com, before its expected April 18 go-live launch.

The upgraded website, which is currently available as a beta site at pse-pilot.com, has a new engine, easier to navigate content and a customer-friendly design.

The pilot of PSE’s beta site, which is being promoted to customers via a banner ad on the utility’s existing site, will run through April 17. PSE is piloting the beta site of its upgraded website to give customers the opportunity to become familiar with the reorganized content and provide input via an online survey on what they like or don’t like about the new features.

“PSE is always looking for ways to better engage with our customers and improve their experience with us,” said Martha Monfried, PSE’s director of Corporate Communications. “Our existing five-year-old site is outdated and becoming difficult to maintain, so we took the opportunity to fix the backend and craft an easier-to-use site with the customer front and center.

“Our work isn’t over yet,” added Monfried. “We want to hear from our customers. We’ll make refinements based on their input – a website is always a work in progress.”

The upgraded site is designed to help PSE customers get the information they need quickly and efficiently, while also encouraging them to explore all that PSE has to offer.
