I am very late in writing this, but better late than never. I want to salute the Muckleshoot Tribe for the rapid removal of the fireworks stands in the field by the casino this year.

In years past, some stands have remained for months, but this year the process took only a few weeks. This was obviously a concerted effort on the part of the tribe, and they should be congratulated and thanked for it.

I have no complaints about their effort to support themselves through the sale of fireworks, and it is clear a large population is glad they do so.

It is just nice to see the field cleaned up shortly after the Fourth.
