Shows are set for Dec. 5, Dec. 11-12 and Dec. 18-19.

Movies at The Ave presents “A Christmas Story”

Join us after the Santa Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony in downtown Auburn and enjoy this iconic holiday film with the whole family. Prizes awarded for the best bunny pajamas, snow suit, or Ralphy look-alike, so come in costume. Or, play our “A Christmas Story” movie trivia contest.

Tickets $3 each; $2 each for groups of four or more.

Live at The Ave presents “Auburn Follies: Holiday Edition”

Remember when the Auburn Avenue Theater was a dinner theatre featuring all your beloved musicals? Remember the wonderful actors who played Nathan Detroit and the rest of the Guys-n-Dolls gang, Big Daddy, Mother Superior, Maria and the rest of those precocious Von Trapp Family kids? For one weekend in December, step back into the past with a variety show that revisits a few of your favorite moments from some classic musicals that were presented at The Ave “back in the day.” Join a host of memorable actors having fun in encore performances of your favorite characters … with a little twist.

Danny Vernon has created a show that recreates the excitement of “The King” on stage throughout various stages in his performance career. With the voice, look, and passion of this 20th century icon, Vernon absolutely succeeds in re-capturing Elvis Presley’s appeal to an ever-growing audience. Join Danny, Marcia “Ann Margaret” and the DeVilles as they portray the King of Rock-n-Roll like no other.
