The fifth annual South King County Latino Family Health & Safety Fair was held last Saturday at Grace Community Church.

Many community agencies came together to organize the free event, which featured free dental, vision, blood pressure and diabetes screenings for all who attend this event. Women aged 40-64 also received free Pap tests and mammograms by appointment.

Also featured were presentations about immigrant and worker rights, domestic violence, employment and nutrition among others. Attendees will also enjoyed food, music, folkloric dance, raffles and activities for children.

The South King County Latino Family Health and Safety Fair was a partnership between public and private health care providers, hospitals, local governments, businesses and Grace Community Church. A full list can be found at www.latinoferia.com
