Mark your calendar for Auburn’s Halloween Harvest Festival

Auburn’s Halloween Harvest Festival is a fun-filled afternoon of arts and crafts and carnival games tooled to make about 3,000 kids ages 2-10 and their families squeal with delight.

Now, the city of Auburn has its eyeballs out for people who’d like to sponsor it.

If that’s you, you’re invited to participate with your organization or business in the Trunk-or-Treat event, which is part of the Halloween Harvest Festival in Les Gove Park and the Auburn Community and Event Center from1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28.

Participating organizations will provide their own trunk activity and as a trunk vendor, are required to provide a special giveaway or treats to be given to youth participants. Vendors may provide informational materials about their programs or business.

Prizes will be awarded to the most creative (fun, not scary) trunk. You are also encouraged to dress up in costumes appropriate for the pint-sized audience.

Youth participants will Trunk-or-Treat around the path in Les Gove Park and enjoy outdoor music and other fun fall activities.

To participate as a “trunk” with your business or organization in this event, please complete the online Trunk-or-Treat Vendor Application.

The application deadline is Oct 10, 2023. Applications received after that date will only be considered on a space-available basis. Here are the categories and application fees:

Non-Profit – $10: Any non-profit agency. Non-profit certificate must accompany application form to receive non-profit rate.

Childcare Provider – $10: Any agency whose primary purpose is to provide childcare.

Community Youth Recreation – $10: Any agency whose primary purpose is to provide recreational activities to children/youth.

Youth Education – $10: Any agency whose primary purpose is to provide educational services to children/youth.

Commercial/Retail – $25: For example, a business, enterprise, firm, company or other organization engaged in the trade of goods, services or both to consumers to make a profit for their company.

Organized School Groups – FREE: ASB, Key Club, etc.
