The AAA Driver Improvement Program offers its refresher course on defensive driving skills on Jan. 31, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Wesley Homes Lea Hill, 32049 109th Place SE, Auburn.

The course – operated by American Driving Services – gives practical guidance for traffic accident prevention and enhances driver safety and confidence. Course completion qualifies drivers 55 years of age and over for automobile insurance premium discounts.

Cost is $18 per person.
