Auburn scored early and often to dispatch Billings, Mont., 9-2, in a Northwest Regional semifinal in San Bernardino, Calif., on Thursday night.

Winners of all five of its regional games, top-seeded Auburn now will face Boise, Idaho for the regional championship game Saturday night. Coverage will begin at 6 p.m. on ESPN.

No Auburn team has reached Williamsport, Pa. The World Series will run from Aug. 20-29.

Ikaika Nahaku and Isaiah Hatch blasted home runs as Auburn scored four runs in the first, three in the second and two more in the third to roll to victory in front of an ESPN 2 audience.

Starter Casy Manning took the win, with Dillon O’Grady retiring the final eight batters for Auburn. Auburn posted 13 strikeouts.

Manning doubled and drove in three runs. Hatch and Hudson Byorick each drove in two. O’Grady doubled.

Boise, meanwhile, advanced with a 6-3 win over Beaverton, Ore., in the other semifinal.

The Auburn team coached by Kai Nahaku and Dale Wilson, includes: Tyler Tan, Nahaku, Hatch, O’Grady, Manning, Byorick, Robbie Wilson, Chandler Michalek, Dylan Davis, Dillon Roe and Ryan Lacey.
