Auburn Autism Symposium set for Sunday

Auburn Autism Symposium, an information resource and support fair for families, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Auburn First United Methodist Church, located at 100 N St. SE.

Auburn Autism Symposium, an information resource and support fair for families, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Sunday at Auburn First United Methodist Church, located at 100 N St. SE.

“This will be a groundbreaking event,” said Crystal Goetz, Christian education director at Auburn First United Methodist.

The symposium will include a question-and-answer panel discussion with parenets. Guest speakers will include Sen. Pam Roach (R-Auburn) and Allison Lowy Apple, PhD., executive director of BCBA and a leading expert on autism.

Light lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

The event is free to the public. Child care provided. Pre-registration is recommended.
