Osgood paints to express human emotion whether it is humorous, depressing or inspiring. He’s very process oriented: the throws, drips, blocks and layers paint – never knowing what he’s going to get when he begins. He uses vibrant contrasting color palettes to illicit a “pop” factor. He believes that colors pull people into his paintings and often juxtaposes bright vivid color with depressing emotions to provide balance and to surprise the viewer.

Osgood’s art is inspired by street art and graffiti as well as Picasso’s cubist period, Basquiat and Pollock. He enjoys working with a vibrant color pallet, mostly focuses on acrylics and spray paints for his most recent work.

Ashby Cash is a young Seattle-based urban artist who has been painting steadily since high school. He got his first taste of street art while he was in his senior year of high school after a friend showed him an issue of Juxtapoz Art and Culture Magazine. Ashby Cash studied under Tacoma folk artist Liza Morado in 2006 and his artistic potential was realized.

Influenced by street artists across Europe and the U.S., Ashby Cash uses spray paint, acrylic and watercolor to create his works on canvas, paper and wood. Ashby Cash’s works have been displayed publically in businesses, galleries across the country and in private collections. His paintings reflect the textures of the city as well as the colors and spontaneity found in nature.
