Auburn came to life on the Fourth of July with a festival in the park and live thoroughbred racing and fireworks at Emerald Downs. In addition to a full race card, fans got a good view of the firework shows that lit the nighttime skies over the one-mile oval. At Les Gove Park, families enjoyed fun and games, entertainment and food at a city-sponsored festival.
