Philip Lee, a publisher, book seller and educator, was the featured speaker at the final session of the Auburn Reads program last Thursday at the Auburn Library.

Lee hosted the Readers to Eaters series, talking to participants about healthier eating options and choices.

The session was the final one before the Auburn Library closes for renovation, which is expected to start in January. The library will be closed for at least a year, according to Bradley Shackleford, a librarian at the Auburn branch.

Shackleford said he hoped that the library would be able to continue the Auburn Reads program when the renovation is finished.

“It was the inaugural event,” Shackleford said. “It’d be great to have follow that up with something.”
