Auburn Library to host free showing of ‘EFT’ for veterans, families

Veterans and other suffering from PTSD – post-traumatic stress disorder – are invited to a free showing of "EFT" (emotional freedom technique) from 10:15 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Feb. 26 in the meeting room at the Auburn Public Library, 1102 Auburn Way S.

Sarah L. Blum, ARNP nurse, Vietnam veteran and local nurse psychotherapist specialist in PTSD, will present the DVD showing. She also will demonstrate and teach the technique and answer questions.

EFT is a psychological acupressure technique routinely used and highly recommend to optimize emotional health. The technique break the connection between the traumatic memory and the body’s automatic fight-flight-freeze response.
