Vandalism: 11:53 a.m., 2120 Auburn Way N. Somebody broke a store window at Smoke Cheap Price Tobacco.

April 18

Trespassing: 1516 Auburn Way N. Auburn Town Motors told a misbehaving dude to scoot along.

Animal problem: 1:39 p.m., 200 block of D Street Northeast. The owner of an unlicensed, potentially dangerous dog having improperly restrained the canine in his or her front yard, Auburn’s animal control officer reminded said owner of City rules, and Outdoor Pooch morphed into Inside Pooch.

Theft: 1:45 p.m., 1102 Auburn Way S. Somebody who had left his or her cell phone in a bathroom stall at the Auburn Library told police that another user of the aforesaid facilities probably stole it right away.

Trespassing: 11:26 a.m., 2790 Auburn Way S. The Golden Arches, under the authority of the Honorable Mayor McCheese, rescinded their sunny welcome from a boy of undisclosed badness, and he was like, gonesville, man.

Theft from vehicle: 3:50 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. While a woman was placing her children in car seats, she put her purse on the front seat, but at that very moment, sensing opportunity in his felonious heart, a male snagged the purse and then left in a dark car with a female at the wheel.

Burglary: Overnight. 4910 A St. SE. Somebody hit the dog and cat food storage shed at the Auburn Valley Humane Society.

Vandalism: 10:33 p.m., 4200 bloc of Auburn Way South. A car full of kids hurled items at a man’s vehicle, damaging the car.

April 24

Strong arm street robbery: 6:20 a.m., 1200 G St. SE. A man in his 20s attacked a woman from behind, demanded money and robbed her of $10. The woman did not sustain serious injuries, and the robber got away.

Theft: 6:20 p.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. An apartment complex owner placed items outside his door, and minutes later discovered they were gone.
