Dec. 15

Shoplifting: 2:21 p.m., 1100 Supermall Way SW. Police arrested an out-of-town visitor for theft after store security at Marshalls at the SuperMall caught her pocketing Christmas gifts for friends.

Cops helping cops: 10:41 p.m., 500 block of M Street Southeast. Police arrested a woman on a confirmed Lakewood warrant for prostitution, transported her to a meeting location with the Lakewood Police Department and released her to Lakewood officers.

Dec. 19

Theft: 5:38 a.m., 3900 block of I Street Northwest. Somebody or an unknown quantity of somebodies stole extension cables worth an undisclosed amount from an undisclosed location.

DUI alcohol or drugs: 11:40 p.m., 1500 Lake Tapps Parkway SE. A man was arrested for DUI after being involved in a head-on collision.

Dec. 20

Theft: 44 5th St. NE. Somebody stole a coin-operated Maytag dryer from the laundry room at the Auburn Oaks Apartments. Police did not disclose a value for the missing machine.

Shoplifting: 6:20 p.m., 240 block of 15th Street Southeast. Police arrested a female for shoplifting something at the Goodwill.

Theft: 6 p.m., 1314 Auburn Way N. An unknown person stole undisclosed belongings out of a secured locker at a gym.

Theft: 6 p.m., 5600 block of South 324th Place. After finding several empty envelopes on his front porch, a man concluded that somebody had stolen several pieces of mail from his box, so he reported it as such.

Dec. 21

Car theft: 1:58 a.m., 1257 Supermall Way. Somebody swiped a man’s Toyota from the SuperMall parking lot. It later turned up impounded in a Black Diamond-area car wreck.
