Dec. 17

Stolen property: 8:57 a.m., 3900 block of South 146th Street, Tukwila. After a woman sold a $15,000 wristwatch that had been stolen in a burglary last September, police busted her.

Burglary: Overnight, 800 block of 24th Street Southeast. Somebody broke into an Auburn resident’s shed and burglarized said shed.

Theft: 9:25 p.m., 1123 E. Main St. A male — child, adolescent, young, middle-aged or old dude, police wouldn’t say beyond the bald fact of gender — stole jewelry from the Auburn Valley Humane Society Thrift Store. Police did not disclose a value.

Dec. 20

Hit and run: 9:41 a.m., 200 block of 8th Street Southeast. A vehicle struck a woman while she was stealing fuel, inflicting minor injuries on her, and left the scene. The woman herself was charged with theft of property.

Dec. 21

Vandalism: 12:07 a.m., 711 E. Main St. Police busted a kid for driving on the grass of Auburn High School and forwarded charges to the juvenile prosecuting attorney.

Dec. 23

Vandalism: 4:30 a.m., 31400 block of 106th Place Southeast. In the small hours of the morning, someone shot out a home’s rear sliding door.

Card fraud: 7:36 p.m., 9 16th St. NW. Travel Lodge was among several victims of credit- or debit-card fraud.

Dec. 25

Burglary: 8:20 a.m., 2840 Riverwalk Drive SE. Metal thieves stole copper wire and pipe from the walls of an empty warehouse.

Vandalism: 9:21 a.m., 200 block of 10th Street Southeast. A man vandalized a bedroom door in the apartment he shares with his girlfriend, children and his girlfriend’s parents.

Dec. 26

Theft: 8 a.m., 1500 block of 59th Street Southeast. Thieves ripped off a young man from Montana visiting his parent or parents in Auburn, depriving him of his wallet, a change box and two Apple iPods that had been in his truck at the beginning of his stay.

Vandalism: 9:32 p.m., 2455 F St. SE. A man damaged his ex-wife’s apartment door, exposing his three children to the ugly face of domestic violence.
