July 5

Theft: 8:24 a.m., 5901 35th Way SE. Persons unknown filched four flower pots from somebody’s porch. Police did not disclose a value for said flower pots.

Burglary: 2 p.m., 501 C Street SW. A man reported that somebody broke into his business and stole several undisclosed tools worth undisclosed amounts.

Shoplifting: 4:25 p.m., 1425 Supermall Way SW. Police arrested a man for shoplifting clothing and video games from WalMart. Police did not disclose a value.

Assault: 6 p.m., 1420 30th St. SE. After police responded to a call of kids lighting fireworks inside an apartment complex hallway and causing damage, they arrested a man for obstruction, resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. Officers also arrested a woman for making false statements to a police officer and a boy for trying to assault an officer with a knife.

Burglary: Overnight, 28728 Green River Road SE. An Auburn Parks Department employee reported a burglary of undisclosed items from Mary Olsen Farm.

July 6

Theft from building: 7 a.m., 121 N. Division. Between July 2 and July 6, persons unknown stole framed artwork from the wall of a building still partially under construction.

Agency assist: 12:43 p.m., 600 block of 27th Street Southeast. A female, general age not given, called 911 to report that somebody had stolen her backpack. Police hauled her in on a confirmed warrant from the City of Pacific and transferred her to the custody of the aforesaid City.

Theft: 2:17 p.m., 801 Auburn Way N. A man told police that the Crown Royal bag he had been using to carry his money and keys was stolen after he accidentally dropped it on the ground. As the victim tried to position his wheelchair to pick up the bag, an unknown suspect grabbed it and fled the scene on a bicycle. Police could not find the thief.

Shoplifting: 6:45 p.m., 12400 S.E. 312th St. An employee of a Shell station told police that an unknown but regular customer swiped undisclosed merchandise worth undisclosed amounts.
