June 1

Commercial burglary: Overnight, 1527 22nd St. NW. An employee of Sylvania Lighting Services called to report the theft of an undisclosed amount of sheet metal worth an undisclosed amount of money.

Burglary: 3 p.m., 12110 SE 312th St. Somebody stole a man’s .50-caliber ammunition reloading equipment from his storage shed at the apartment complex where he lives, sometime between April 1 and June 1.

June 3

Theft from building: 2:30 p.m., 1825 K St. SE. Somebody swiped a cellphone from a student’s locker but dogged investigative work soon recovered said stolen phone.

June 5

Theft: 8 a.m., 2100 Auburn Way S. A man told police that between June 3 and June 5, somebody swiped several street signs from a private property construction site.

June 6

Shoplifting: 4:40 p.m., 762 Supermall Drive SW. Police booked a woman for felony theft of undisclosed merchandise for resale. Police also learned of the existence of two arrest warrants with the woman’s name attached to them.

Don’t lie to police: Overnight, 3200 block of Auburn Way N. A woman called 911 to report an order violation. After the investigation, police determined that there was no violation and that the woman had in fact uttered a falsehood about the circumstances creating the violation.

Shoplifting: 12:52 p.m., 2705 Auburn Way N. A woman shoplifted a fishing pole from Pawn Exchange. Police did not disclose a value for the missing pole.

June 7

Theft from motor vehicle: 1:15 a.m., 12110 block of Southeast 314th Place. A man reported that some thief wormed into his truck and stole tools from it while the truck sat in his driveway. Police did not disclose a value for the missing tools.
