Firefighters treat man with stab wound | Fire blotter

The Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to 271 calls for service between April 29 and May 5, among them the following.

April 29

Aid call: 9:23 a.m. (Pacific). Firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics helped a man who was struggling to breathe, and then a private ambulance safely transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.

April 30

Accident: 2:57 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters at the scene of a single-vehicle rollover accident on State Route 18 stabilized the vehicle and assessed the single occupant, who had suffered no injuries and declined further assistance.

May 1

Aid call: 8:50 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters evaluated and provided immediate treatment to a man with a stab wound to his left forearm before a private ambulance transported him to a local hospital.

May 3

Aid call: 10:34 a.m. (Lea Hill). Firefighters evaluated a woman who was showing symptoms of high blood pressure and weakness. Finding her in need of further medical attention, they arranged for a private ambulance to transport her to MultiCare Covington Medical Center.

May 4

Aid call: 4:31 p.m. (Auburn). Firefighters helped a man who had suffered injuries in an assault, and a private ambulance transported him to MultiCare Auburn Medical Center.

May 5

Accident: 7:20 a.m. (Auburn). Firefighters and King County Medic One paramedics responded to a three-car collision assessed. They multiple patients, secured the damaged vehicles, and determined that all injuries were minor. One person was transported to a local emergency room for further medical care.
