Auburn police responded to the following calls, among many others, between June 9 and June 10:

June 9

Audi bits: 7:33 a.m., 29900 Green River Road SE. Police recovered the rear quarter of a stolen Audi on Green River Road.

Burglary: 6:18 a.m., 909 12th St. SE. An adult female, that is, a woman, reported that somebody had burglarized her small business.

Got milk: 11 a.m., 1111 17th St. SE. Somebody forced his or her way into a storage area and stole 15 gallons of milk from Java Junction.

Forgery: 3:40 p.m., 1936 J St. NE. A man accepted a counterfeit $100 bill at a garage sale.

June 10

Cops helping cops: 11:19 a.m., 800 4th St. NE. An Auburn High School student skipped school, a judge issued an arrest warrant, and Auburn police took the erring kid into custody before booking him or her into the Seattle Juvenile Detention Center.

Theft: 6 a.m. 1320 26th St. NW. An Auburn business owner reported that somebody had stolen an undisclosed amount of industrial sheet metal duct pipe from his or her property in the preceding days.

Vandalism: 6 p.m., 1000 block of 14th Street Northeast. Police arrested a man for malicious mischiefing and vehicle prowling.

Theft: 5:30 p.m., 700 block of 7th Street Southeast. Somebody swiped a male’s backpack.

Strong arm robbery: 12:39 a.m., 2800 block of Auburn Way North. Somebody robbed a man of undisclosed cash or valuables near a tavern in north Auburn.

Trespassing: 2:25 a.m , 620 Auburn Way S. A man scarfed down some products from Subway and refused to scram post scarf, so police issued him a criminal citation for trespassing and released him.
