Feb. 18

Bike theft: 10:45 a.m., 1100 block of Auburn Way South. A man and his young son reported the theft of a bicycle.

CPS referral: Oravetz Road Southeast. A school counselor told police that the parent of a 17-year-old student had pushed the kid.

Theft: 2:55 p.m., 900 29th St. SE. A person, whether he or she not disclosed, complained that a former roommate, whether he or she equally disclosed, had stolen items, not disclosed, of value, undisclosed, between last November and January.

Vandalism: 8:50 a.m., 420 E. Main St. Somebody slashed tires on five vehicles.

Vandalism: 8 a.m., 710 block of Auburn Way North. Somebody took out their aggressions on two hapless flower pots.

Feb. 22

Theft: Overnight, 101 Auburn Way S. Somebody stole from the Safeway parking lot a vehicle and its attached trailer.

Theft: Overnight 800 block of 63rd St. SE. A thief or thieves broke into a van overnight and stole several pairs of shoes.

Weapons offense: 7 p.m., 1300 block of Lake Tapps Parkway Southeast. While confronting two other males about the theft of his daughter’s cellphone charger, a man displayed a handgun.

Vandalism: 3:30 a.m., 1425 Outlet Collection Way SW. Thieves tore from at least two light poles an undisclosed quantity of copper wire, its value undisclosed.

Feb. 24

Vandalism: 8:39 a.m., 400 block of 25th Street Southeast. Somebody broke the rear passenger window of a woman’s car overnight.

CPS referral: 4 a.m., N Street Southeast. Somebody reported a woman to Child Protective Services for an investigation respecting the living conditions of her child.

Purse theft: 12:10 p.m., 1101 Outlet Collection Way SW. A woman in an undisclosed store at The Outlet Collection stole another woman’s purse.

Theft: 5:19 p.m., 2731 Academy Drive SE. Thieves stole metal and wiring items from a warehouse property. Police did not disclose a value for the metal.

Disorderly conduct: 6:45 p.m., 10 block of B Street Northeast. Under the day’s lengthening shadows, two men said unkind words and threw punches at each other on a city street.

Feb. 27

Theft: 9:07 a.m., 1700 block of 19th Drive NE. A man called 911 to report the theft of two of his vehicle’s wheels.

Shoplifting: 3:17 p.m., 1518 Auburn Way S. Dude got himself arrested for shoplifting from Goodwill.

March 2

Burglary: Overnight, 10406 Auburn Black Diamond Road SE. Burglars hit a landscaping business overnight, stealing a trailer hitch, a lock and cable.

Burglary: 10 a.m., 506 23rd St. SE. Somebody stole fuel from the Auburn Municipal Airport.

Burglary: 2:45 p.m. 107 W. Main St. Although someone broke into a storage closet in an apartment building, he or she didn’t steal anything, just used the closet for a place to nap.
