The Auburn Police Department requests drivers to remove excess snow from their vehicles before driving.

Leaving snow on moving vehicles can present a safety hazard to other drivers as snow and ice can fly from your vehicle and could cause other drivers to unnecessarily close eyes, brake or swerve to avoid the snow coming from your vehicle.

It is recommended to use a broom or snow brush to safely remove snow and avoid damaging car.
