DEC. 12

Theft of motor vehicle:

6 a.m., 2900 block of Auburn Way South. A woman told police that somebody stole her 1993 Dodge Caravan from her apartment complex parking lot and drove off with it.

Theft of wallet:

9:53 a.m., 4401 D St. NW. A man told police that some low-down thief swiped his wallet from an office at Outdoor Products.

Hand slam: 7:45 a.m., 1825 K St. SE. A student at Olympic Middle School told authorities that another classmate deliberately shut his hand in a door. Turns out that the hand slammer has a record of harassing said student. Police sent the case to juvenile prosecutors to see what they wanted to do with it.

Theft of property:

4:01 p.m., 3600 block of Pike Street Southeast. Somebody stole something from a backyard. There were no witnesses, there is no suspect information and police declined to say anything about what the thief actually stole.

Sale and manufacture

of cocaine: 6:12 p.m., 222 S. Central Ave., Kent. Alas, no details.

DUI alcohol or drugs:

8:30 p.m., 100 block

of 15th Street NW. Police stopped a female for reckless driving after she sped 20 miles per hour over the limit, ran a stop light and almost hit a car at 15th Street Northwest near the West Valley Highway. Police arrested this female for DUI. She resisted arrest by refusing to get in the police car. At the Auburn Jail, she assaulted one of the correctional staff, kicking her shoe off and striking the officer in the back. Nobody was hurt. The female was refused the breath test for being so mean and nasty. She was booked into the Auburn Jail.

Disorderly conduct: 10:03 p.m., 1400 block of Lake Tapps Parkway. Police arrested a youth after he was observed urinating near the front door of Top Foods in Lakeland Hills. He was also drunk. Police booked the boozy boy into jail for urinating in public and for being a minor in possession of a fermented beverage.

DEC. 13

Theft from car:

2:21 p.m., 3030 R St. SE. A thief or thieves ran off with two separate purses from two separate vehicles at Game Farm Park. Nobody saw the thievery.

Theft from building:

4 p.m., 1101 Supermall Way SW. Store security caught a female person shoplifting at Steve and Barry’s. She also had stolen clothing from

Burlington Coat Factory.

Assault: 12:53 a.m., 5600 block of Hazel Loop Southeast. One blitzed female assaulted another blitzed female at a Christmas party during a boozy donnybrook over some guy.
