Construction activities to replace a damaged sanitary sewer pipe are scheduled to begin at the intersection of 4th Street Southeast and F Street Southeast on Monday and expected to last until next Friday, Feb. 17.

The area will be open to through traffic, but lane closures will be in effect between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. and could possibly last until 7 p.m. on some days or begin as early as 7 a.m.

Alternate routes are advised.

During construction, flaggers will control traffic and Auburn police will help with congestion.

Detour routes will be clearly posted during closures.

The work is weather dependent.
