Auburn School District families are invited to the district’s inaugural Welcome to School event on Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 3 to 6 p.m., at Auburn High School, 700 E. Main St.

The free event offers a resource fair with numerous booths from community partners and district programs. Information about immunizations, high school programs, child nutrition, employment in the district and more.

There will be a barbecue, entertainment, a bouncy house, raffle and other activities for kids.
