Auburn showed their pride for the Super Seahawks on Blue Friday.
Fans flocked to the Auburn Avenue Theater for a Seahawks Super Bowl rally at noon, then assembled in front of the City Hall Plaza for chants, smiles and photos.
Mayor Nancy Backus opened the theater for the special occasion.
The theater held a raffle for prizes, with proceeds going to the Auburn Food Bank to support their “Soup-er Bowl Challenge.”
The theater also showed a 30-minute highlight reel on the big screen of the Seahawks’ run to Super Bowl 49.
The Seahawks take on the Patriots at 3:30 p.m. Sunday (KING-5).
