City officials recognized National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, mourning those who have died of DV, recognizing those who have survived and those who are working to end the violence.

Mayor Nancy Backus and Auburn Police Chief Bob Lee were among the guest speakers.

Peg Coleman of DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women’s Network) and Debbie Christian of the Auburn Food Bank gave a presentation.

Chaplin Ginger Passarelli lead a prayer and moment of silence.
