In the lone contested race for the Auburn School District Board of Directors, Valerie Gonzales, a board appointee, took home 4,491 votes (62.88 %) to challenger Dirk Dearinger’s 36.19 %, with 7,142 total votes cast. There were 66 write-ins.

Incumbents Arlista Holman, Sheilia McLaughlin and Laura Theimer were not contested in the election. There were 144 write-ins for Holman’s position, 228 write-ins for McLauglin’s position, and 152 write-ins for Theimer’s position.
