Fire at commercial building in Auburn

The fire agency reports no injuries.

At 7:38 a.m. Dec. 5, the Valley Regional Fire Authority responded to a report in the 12400 block of W. Main Street in Auburn of a two-alarm fire in a commercial building.

According to Valley Regional Fire, heavy smoke was reported in the area while crews worked, but there were no injuries. Valley Regional Fire reported later on Dec. 5 that the fire was under control, but crews remained on scene to extinguish any hot spots.

According to the Valley Regional Fire spokesperson Kelly Hawks, the cause of the fire is still under investigation. Other assisting agencies were Puget Sound Fire, South King Fire and King County Medic One.
