Firefighters from the Regional Valley Fire Authority and South King Fire and Rescue responded to a report of a fire in a detached garage at 29244 65th Ave. S in Auburn at 12:54 p.m. Friday.

Smoke could be seen from several blocks away prior to the fire department arriving. Firefighters deployed hose lines and were able to knock the fire down quickly.

The garage and its contents were a total loss.

There were no injuries reported by civilians or fire department personnel.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
