Volunteers are needed to Stamp Out Hunger on Saturday.

Help unload food donations from mail trucks at the Auburn Post Office, 11 3rd St. NW, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Donations will help fill the shelves of the Auburn Food Bank.

The National Association of Letter Carriers hope its annual “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive will help lower the number of individuals who face malnutrition in the United States. Saturday will mark the event’s 20th anniversary.

Last year, letter carriers across the nation collected 70.2 million pounds of food, its website stated.

Residents are asked to put out a bag of nonperishable food donations for carriers to pick up Saturday.
