King County Prosecutors on Thursday charged three alleged gang members with conspiracy to commit murder for an alleged plot to kill three members of a rival gang who had assaulted them March 15 at a bus stop in Auburn.

Gregory J. Bolduc, 19, Brian Cortes, 18, and a 15-year-old defendant are each charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree.

Prosecutors also charged a fourth defendant, Ricardo P. Martinez-Perez, 18, with three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm in the second degree for allegedly providing weapons for the murder scheme, which they began planning the day after two of them were assaulted at the bus stop at Eighth Street Northeast and Harvey Road.

A police informant notified police about the plan.

Police interceded, took away weapons and arrested the youths.

Prosecutors will ask to prosecute the juvenile defendant as an adult. The hearing on that matter is at 10 a.m., April 6 in Juvenile Court. The other defendants will be arraigned at 9 a.m., April 6 in courtroom GA of the Norm Maleng Regional Justice Center in Kent.

Conspiracy to commit first-degree murder carries a sentence range of 15 to 20 years in prison. If convicted as charged in Juvenile Court, the 15-year-old could be facing a sentence of 103 to 129 weeks, potentially up to his 21st birthday.

If prosecutors convict Martinez-Perez of three counts of unlawful possession of a firearm second degree, he faces a sentence range of 4 to 12 months in jail.

All four defendants are in custody.
