There will be a public memorial service for Brian Love at 1 p.m., Wednesday, July 17, at the Auburn Adventist Academy at 5000 Auburn Way S.
Love, 56, was driving a taxi for Tim’s Taxi when he was killed in the early morning hours of July 5 in a traffic accident in downtown Auburn.
Auburn Police Volunteer Chaplain Jay Coon is helping to put together the ceremony, which is to include music, photographs and plenty of memories.
“Afterwards, there’ll be a potluck here at the Rainbow Café for those want to join us,” said Linda Douglas, owner of the Rainbow Café at 112 East Main Street. Love and his fianceé, Cheryl Combs, spent many happy hours at the popular downtown restaurant and bar.
