Nominate a high school student who has earned Eagle Scout, Venture Silver or Sea Scout Quartermaster recognition for VFW Scout of the Year.

Nominate a high school student who has earned Eagle Scout, Venture Silver or Sea Scout Quartermaster recognition for VFW Scout of the Year.

Notify Bill Peloza, commander, Auburn Post 1741, for a candidate entry form by calling 253-939-1478 or e-mailing wpeloza@aol.com.

VFW national first- and second-place scholarships are $5,000 and $3,000, respectively.

Application deadline to Post 1741 is Monday, March 1.
