Walker, joggers and runners took to the trail at the Cats and Dogs 1K/5K Fun Run at Roegner Park last Saturday.

The Lakeland Hills Elementary and Mt. Baker Middle School PTSAs presented the first occurrence of what will be an annual event, with proceeds benefitting both schools’ programs.

A bake sale and raffle followed the run/walk.

Seahawks mascot Blitz was on hand to entertain and encourage participants.
