June 25

Boosting blooms:

6:42 a.m., 500 block of 47th Street Southeast. Unknown persons swiped several flower baskets from a residence.

Harassment: 11:45 a.m., 1000 block of 9th Street Southeast. A domestic dispute between a male and female ended with the arrest of the male disputant for harassment and domestic violence. The guy had a gun at his side and told the female she needed to leave the residence just as he dialed 911. The gun intimidated the female, so police arrested the one who had wielded it.

Weapons offense: 4 p.m., 12700 block of Southeast 312th Street. Police arrested a juvenile male for unlawfully displaying a firearm shortly after the young man showed the weapon to one of the maintenance workers at The Seasons apartment complex. No weapon being found on the fellow when police contacted him, police forwarded the case to juvenile prosecutors to see what they wanted to do with it.

Harassment: 8:25 p.m., 29200 block of 118th Avenue Southeast. Police arrested a man after he had fired four gunshots into the air in an attempt to frighten three people away from his house. Police later arrested the man’s wife for tampering with physical evidence.

June 24

Bomb threat or attack: 11:36 p.m., 20 E. St. N.E. Unknown persons ignited a sparkler bomb at Washington Elementary school, damaging a plastic canopy. No estimate was offered.

June 23

Burglary: 5:45 a.m.,

800 4th St. N.E. Persons unknown burglarized Auburn High School after prying two windows on the south side, pilfering computer parts and damaging said computers in the process.

Disorderly conduct:

2:31 p.m., D Street Southeast. Police arrested a woman for reckless endangerment after she passed out at a bus stop and dropped her 2-month-old granddaughter on the concrete. The child was transported to Auburn Regional Medical Center for evaluation.

June 18

Theft: 5 p.m., 1400 block of Lake Tapps Drive Southeast. A female sent $3,550 to Canada after scheming persons bent on mischief told her she had won an International Sweepstakes. Well, she hadn’t.
