Dec. 20, Auburn police responded to the following calls for service:

Dec. 16

Theft from motor vehicle: 7:23 a.m., 300 block of E Street Southeast. A man reported a theft of undisclosed items from his vehicle. Details elusive.

Recovered stolen vehicle: 7 a.m., 44th Street Northwest. Somebody, and police didn’t say who, found a shipping container attached to a flatbed trailer a few blocks from where it had been reported stolen. But the contents of the trailer, $95,000 worth of uniform jackets, were missing.

Dec. 18

Theft: 11 a.m., 32000 block of 109th Place Southeast. A woman called to report that somebody had swiped jewelry from her apartment. Police did not disclose a value.

Dec. 19

Theft from vehicle: Overnight, 1600 Auburn Way N. Somebody stole a GPS and DVD player from a vehicle at Auburn Chevrolet.

Car theft: Overnight, 3000 block of M Street Southeast. For the second time in less than two weeks, somebody stole the same silver, 1999 Dodge Stratus from its owner, gender not given.

Assault: 4:45 p.m., 1200 block of 4th Street Northeast. A gas station employee told an officer that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her in some way.

Thief: 1:05 p.m.,

1101 Supermall Way SW. A man stole Christmas gifts from a man and woman at the Supermall after he identified himself as a store employee. Police did not disclose the store.

Theft from car:

3:19 p.m., 1400 block of Auburn Way North. In the compact description offered by Auburn police, “theft from motor vehicle.”

Theft of services:

3:57 p.m., 4000 block of A Street Southeast. Auburn police reported “theft of services.” No other details were offered.

Assault with a knife: 6:54 p.m., 300 block of Auburn Way South. A male, age not disclosed, walked into a business, also not disclosed, saying that he had been stabbed, by whom also not disclosed. Police didn’t disclose if the male was badly hurt.

Dec. 20

Girl really misbehaving: 1:08 a.m., 3600 block of Auburn Way South. Police arrested a girl for assaulting a police officer after she spit in the officer’s face and eye. The girl also wigged out, breaking numerous items in the house because she wasn’t allowed to use a phone to call a friend.
