Regional Animal Services of King County (RASKC) and Auburn Valley Humane Society (AVHS) team up to “Share the Love” this holiday season. On Saturday, the agencies host a pet adoption event from noon to 4 p.m. at Mike Scarff Subaru of Auburn, 3025 Auburn Way N.
“We’re looking forward to finding homes for a lot of great pets,” said RASKC Manager Dr. Gene Mueller. “2013 has been a good year for us, and we’re hoping to finish the year on a high note.”
Along with adoptable pets from RASKC and AVHS, there will also be cats, dogs, and other critters looking for new homes from Seattle Humane Society, UP2U Dog Rescue, and Rabbit Haven.
In addition, Pasado’s Safe Haven will give tours of its Mobile Spay Station. The Spay Station travels around the region, providing free or low-cost spay and neuter surgeries for pets whose owners meet certain income guidelines.
The “Share the Love” Pet Adoption Event is made possible by a grant from the ASPCA and the generous support of Mike Scarff Subaru of Auburn. For more information about RASKC, visit www.kingcounty.gov/pets. To learn more about AVHS, log on to www.auburnvalleyhs.org.
