Sound Transit is seeking feedback for design guidelines for potential contractors, according to their website.

In addition to the online open house, Sound Transit is holding an in-person event at the Auburn Station on Tuesday, May 10. Sound Transit staff will be on-site at the east platform of the Auburn Station from 3 – 6:15 p.m. to talk with community members about the improvements.

Finally, on Monday, May 16, Sound Transit is hosting a virtual question and answer session from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom. You can find the Zoom link on the Auburn Station website listed above.

Sound Transit is working to improve access to the Auburn Station for pedestrians, bus riders, cyclists and drivers alike by building a new parking garage and other enhancements to the facility.

The improvements to Auburn Station are expected to cost around $113 million and be completed by 2025 at the earliest.

In addition to a new 500-space parking garage, new bike lockers at the Sounder station and bus shelters for King County Metro stops are included in the planned improvements.
